Re: The next prime minister
Indeed. They were just discussing it on the radio and saying how Johnson and his supporters have fixed the system by tactical voting.
Democracy?, my arse.
It’s time for Revolution.
I’ve ordered a guillotine.

I like to see what new truths and promises they have for us as they bid for the top spot in british politics.

Re: The next prime minister
It’s time to break the system. All HMRC services are currently out of action.

Also far cleverer.D6 wrote:Can it be anyone from Have I got new for you?Monty wrote:Why Boris has already won?

Mr Merton is far too busy engaged in positive & constructive employment, to waste his life in politics.

Re: The next prime minister
I see the deputy PM says that a No Deal Brexit is likely to lead to the break up of the UK.

But I thought we didn't have a deputy PM currently.?duke63 wrote:I see the deputy PM says that a No Deal Brexit is likely to lead to the break up of the UK.
Anyway, that's rather like someone announcing that they can speak...

Re: The next prime minister
I see the Governor of the BoE has told Johnson he needs to go back to school and learn the reality of world trading as he has been suggesting trading terms using GATT24 which in the context Johnson suggests are just not legal under international rules.

Re: The next prime minister
It'll be interesting to see what Gove does now he's out of the running. He and Johnson have a long running feud and Gove won't take the recent voting tactics lying down.
Johnson certainly divides the conservative party. He may struggle to get the backing he needs once he's at the helm.
He's got 35 working days between him going into number 10, the summer holiday and the end of October. The EU won't grant another extension unless there's a workable agreement in place.

Re: The next prime minister
He has made so many more enemies in the last few weeks. I bet they cannot wait to stab him in the back and bring him down.
What are the odds on him being gone by Xmas? Pretty low I reckon. His Parliamentary majority is so slim it will only take a few Tory MPs to bring him down.

Re: The next prime minister
Johnson might be about to lose another seat too. Couldn’t happen to a more obnoxious inbred c.nt.

Re: The next prime minister
He might regret that advice if Johnson gets in.....although I don't know how likely that is.duke63 wrote:I see the Governor of the BoE has told Johnson he needs to go back to school and learn the reality of world trading as he has been suggesting trading terms using GATT24 which in the context Johnson suggests are just not legal under international rules.
