Public Sector Strikes
Can't say I'm in favour tbh. My wife works in the private sector and she last had a wage rise in 2009. Its not good but we are glad she has a job in today's market place so rather than strike she goes the extra mile and works lunches, starts early, leaves late etc....she has few holidays and no pension so public sector works really don't have it as bad as they think IMO.

Re: Public Sector Strikes
if we had a blanket ruling on pay for ALL public sector employees , including MP's and civil servants then I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be getting screwed like they are

Re: Public Sector Strikes
Its a difficult one. There are some very low paid people working for the government. Yet equally there are plenty of people working for the government who earn far to much for what little they do.
I don't have much sympathy for some of them though as in the scheme of things they are very fortunate with their working pay conditions and pensions.
