Not today but on Friday I ran over to Oulton to see Nige and Di and took the GPZ out for a spin, great run there and back despite the bike deciding to sit at 3-4000 revs everytime I pulled up at a junction r'bout etc on the way back, little bit of confidence gained there

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Got out for a bit of a blast yesterday, and ended up being a bit of a hoon. Decided to turn off one of my normal routes down a turning I've never been down, turned out to be a few good lanes that put me back onto a road I recognised.
Stopped of at Hughenden M40 for a quick look round, they've got a little cafe up there now so stopped for a brew. Got chatting to a guy with a Yellow D650, it was suffering a little with a collapsed wheel bearing. He was saying about plans to do the bike up over the winter, so dutifully passed on a tankslap card as I know how much you guys love helping people spend money on bikes
Left there and nailed the bike out of the turning, right passed the nose of a marked traffic car fortunately he must have been too busy as he didn't follow me . Toned it down a tad for a blast back to the H cafe for a quick brew before heading home.
The tyres where red hot when I got back.. I think summer has arrived

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
No thankfully I didn't see that, but no doubt will hear about it on Wednesday
I live a few miles from there in a village called Horspath and when I'm out I usually call in for a brew on the way home.
Next few weekends are a no no but anytime after that give us the nod and I'll wobble over.
You won't miss my bike it's an all white gixxer 750, proper girlie bike

Decided it was going to be a while before I could justify splashing out on the Rizoma reservoirs so ordered these from a company in the USA.
They look a shed load better than the original ones which had suffered the years of exposure and brake fluid.

Mike no good?
At least you know where you stand with the guys at Honda. You've got a good relationship with them.

Mike not got back yet but I think he's really busy at the moment, the price for the service has gone down a bit as there seems to be a bit of a staff issue there but can't really say on here but I'll explain when I next see you, I'm also dropping it off at 8.45 and they are giving me a courtesy bike to use for work then pop back at 5.30 to pick it up that way I don't need to lose time and money from work.Kwacky wrote:Mike no good?
