Cheers mate, I appreciate the comments.. That was probably one of the hardest things I've done in my life, and also something I'm unlikely to repeat in the near future.

31 miles in any temperature is damned impressive to me, 3.1 miles would have me blowing out my backside.
Well done mate

Prolly just stay at home today & play guitar....was going to go cycling but it's 6.30 and already it's silly-hot outside ( inside too, for that matter).
Drink lots of water & stay away from caffeine, I suppose.

Well....I went out cycling anyway & I'm fcukin' knackered. The heat & humidity are doing me in. 18 measly miles.
Which means I should probably try & go out again tonight after the sun goes down.
Or maybe tomorrow....yes, tomorrow sounds better.

yesterday I went to Tropical Birdland which is a Parrot rescue centre and sanctuary with some friends and their kids .
Today I sweated in the heat and dust of Culham Park MX with the Marines MX team - I'll drop some photo's in a separate thread later .

Took my son to Wellington park, mainly for the splash pad.
Blisters are a bitch, and I have a couple of great ones

Running my batteries down at work up in the Cotswolds whilst watching the Red Kites on the thermals, until the USAF turned up and ruined the peace with a convoy of helicopters and weird slow aeroplanes. Twats.

It's Royal International Air Tattoo at RAF Fairford this weekend I imagine they are headed there or somewhere close to it .

Flying to work. The only bonus is I’ll get some freaking warm weather. I so don’t do cold. I’m sure I was living in the tropics in a previous life

I work in the tropics, I live in a temperate climate which has hot summers (highs up to mid 40’s) and cold summers (lows to around 0 deg C)
It’s been averaging 12-15 deg days at home, but loving the 30 deg day up in Darwin today

Day off today.
Doing the school run, then off to look at a potential new school for the boy.

Just had a call to say the RSV4 is ready, been a bit of a mission as he has repaired as much as possible instead of buying new to save on cost. Pay for it tomorrow and have a look, he's also sorted out the auto blipper that was a bit lumpy to say the least.
Gonna be expensive the new front wheel was £1k on its own

I'm not a football fan but I think the team did well , they are a young side and will hopefully get better .
