Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Checked the rear caliper (see thread for more details!)
Also just basking in the fact of how much i love riding, true freedom!
Got invited to a little ride out with my soon to be BIL for his birthday which he has organised tomorrow, theres only 3 of us going think hes a new friend hes got to know from a recent stag do, so will be nice to meet him for a hoon!
Also today me and das have been puttinf some rim tape and also similar type manufacturer stickers on his wheels. Not the greatest because we learnt we couldnt out his bike up on the paddock stands, we could on his last bike as i got him some of those paddock bobbins. Bit of a let down but didnt realise this bike didnt even have the threads for the bobbins so couldnt even nick mine if they were to fit. But fun never the less ans nice to spend some time with my dad around bikes! Sunburnt now though, dam its hot!!

Cleaned it and the chain, and found this...
I'm thinking a 400+ mile ride up to holy island may not be the best idea for tomorrow, it's booked in for 9am Monday for a pair of Avon's, sadly it couldnt last that 1 extra ride.

I may ride up to where my mates are all meeting just to say hi and Bye, then a steady ride home. I still want a ride

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Had a lovely relaxed ride with my soon to be BIL and his mate. I took them to Loomies, Portsdown Hill, back to Loomies, then home. Didnt take a look at tge mileage but i guess 160 odd if not a bit more. What a day, i am loving this weather.
On the way to Loomies though, we believe we had an undercover copper follow us. White lid, up right bike, great gear, riding style was very good but constantly kept an eye on us, also felt lile he was watching me due to his rosd positioning all the time and i was leading think he wanted to pounce. He popped out at a 30 and never passed us but stuck with us. When we got to Loomies he watched us and carried on at the crossroads.
Watch out if you go there today

It's only just on it's wear markers so I didn't expect it to fall apart just yet.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Some people shouldn’t be riding a bike. Which he wouldn’t if that chain snapped and wrapped itself round either sprocket seizing either the engine or the rear wheel.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I did point the chain out and let him know about basic chain maintenance. I also said about yhe fact if it broke it will then write his bike off. His only been riding a year or so. Does make you think about tye theory, maybe they need to add a simple bike maintenance section in the theory
