Put a new battery in the ZX10R and ran it. Started first pop. Forgot how sexy it sounds.
Then this arvo had the sale confirmed. Guy drives up from Melbourne later in the month to get it. He was keen to come this weekend but I’m down in Melbourne myself picking up my new camper.

Froze my nuts off this morning. There's still some snow lying about so the bike was a bit twitchy at times.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
The bike has sat there for 2 yrs untouched since dirvorcing and becoming a single dad when I’m home. To get to a track day I have to leave here at 5.30am and home by 7-7.30pm. With kids in school that requires a whole lot of favours and the ex isn’t good on them. So it had too go. But another road bike might turn uprocket wrote:No dislike buttonkiwikrasher wrote:Put a new battery in the ZX10R and ran it. Started first pop. Forgot how sexy it sounds.

Group leader on a little ride out this morning down to Middle Wallop.... not planned as such lol.
Visited mum for mothers day, NO FLOWERS ??? where are they, checked my order, they seem to be on for delivery on the 17th wtf!!
Ride home was very wet..... at least I got to test the new jacket in very heavy rain.... It worked very well, bone dry, lovely and warm.

I didn't give the Versys a full wash yesterday, but I did scrub and lube the chain and apply some ACF50 to parts that looked like they needed it.
Then rode it in really heavy rain this morning. Winter might not be over but at least the rain wasn't cold. Small mercies and all that.

You picked a good day for it. It's supposed to be dry all day.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
I've been riding in the snow.
Left home and it was fine. Got on the motorway and it was blizzard conditions. Arrived at Hinckley and it was ok. Andy started cleaning the bike and the snow started. After an hour he had to give up as ice was forming on the bike. He had to get a blower out to warm up the tyres.
I'm currently at Addison getting a new rear.

Set up the rear sets and due to loctite i rounded 1 of the bolts. tried easyout no joy. Drilled out and back on track
Placed some decals on the bike.
Changed the rear sprocket from 46 to 45.
Getting ready for Almeria in April.
