It's pretty much the best TV series that's ever been done....at least from a few standpoints. I know it was the most expensive until The Pacific....but that one didn't resonate as much with me.
Couldnt agree more D. The Pacific was clearly well shot and had a lot going for it but just didnt seem to bond as well for me either which is a shame because i really wanted it to be really up there like Band of Brothers but it wasnt

Yoytube videos. Literally got hours of them to watch as usually i watch them on breaks at work but ive had limited data left so had to leave them!! Trying to habe a little cstch up now

Sequels rarely stack up against originals....the ideas aren't fresh anymore.
And the Pacific War is often viewed more as a 'US only' affair, with the island-hopping campaign & whatnot.
That, and there's always a "Let's Get Revenge For Pearl Harbor!!" undertone going on there somewhere. No-one likes getting caught with their pants down.

The morning news, and more fallout from the recent mass shooting.
There's been an alleged copycat plan foiled in Whittier, CA.....a threat was made by a student being ejected/expelled from school, and subsequently a cache of weapons has been discovered at the student's home.

Fun times.
