Took it out a quick thrash for an hour, Sports mode, one up. For a bike that can eat up the kms fully loaded with gear and passenger, it still makes you giggle when you hammer it solo
Happiness is not a destination. It is a way of life.

Rode it around the Peak ... 90 miles in total on wet greasy roads , cold but not freezing and only needed the grip heaters on there lowest setting .... loved it

Really windy out there tonight. It's never fun when the weather is like this, it's even worse when you've got a massive top box on your bike.

Froze my nuts off on the way into work. It won't be long now before the roads start getting icy.

Swapped the BST wheels for a set of OEM wheels and got a pair of mirrors for the 999 with some cash my way.

Versys washed, waxed and some ACF50 applied.
They must have had the gritters out last week as there are already signs of salt on the bike.

I’m selling the 999 D, I sold the BST wheels as I wouldn’t really get any more for the bike with them on, tbh the OEM ones look great.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Changed my front and rear brake lines! Rear was fully down yesterday and fronts was out in place yesterday but bled today. What a ball ache. Sun was setting last night and we had the front wheel off and nuts and bolts off too!
Got it bled today, bled it a millions timea, front Calipers, main master cylinder and just kept on going! A little concerned as it feels lile the brake lever goes a little way but when you use it the bite is sooner now than before!! Not as sharp as i would of liked it but lile I say it bites sooner now which is a win in my head!
Afterwards went down the jet wash and gave it a good spray down as I had brake fluid everywhere.

Been round the NECbike show with Mr and Mrs Cookie. Mrs Cookie officially has the smallest head that the Arai Japan technician has ever seen.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Covered my freshly washed and waxed bike in dirt and grime and rod crud.
I hate this time of year, the roads are perpetually damp and covered in crap which gets thrown up by the traffic. Your bike and your kit gets covered in the stuff.

You might want to consider the car Kwacky, ice everywhere here on the school run. Even the Disco was struggling this morning.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
My road was clear this morning and no ice/frost on the cars so I thought it was going to be ok. 2 roads later and there was ice about so I tiptoed into work. I'm not in work tomorrow. I'll keep an eye out on the weather next week but it is looking like it's car season for me.
