My very own Stilton & broccoli soup, have to say even though I made it, it was pretty good, Mrs Gee did a Leek & Potato soup and we emptied both pots and all the bread on the table.
It’s been cold here so a very soup-ish kinda day.

Re: What are you eating ??
Roast pork for lunch, apple and blackberry crumble for dessert.
That was our last full roast dinner before Christmas, we always stay off the roasts until the 25th, that way our Crimbo dinner isn’t just another Sunday lunch.

I reckon Monty's Christmas dinner = the feeding of the five thousand!
.....but then that's EVERY dinner.

Re: What are you eating ??
Not this year mate. My average Christmas (last 10 years) has been work like a b@stard right up until Christmas Eve, spend Christmas Eve shopping for and cooking 20 things my kids don't eat. Christmas morning cooking another 10 things they won't eat and then every year I'm ill and I don't eat a thing. Every fooking year!D41 wrote:I reckon Monty's Christmas dinner = the feeding of the five thousand!

This year I'm spending Christmas Eve shopping for 20 different Vodkas/Gins and I'm buying Christmas dinner from M&S!
I love food and I love cooking, but sick to fooking death of Christmas dinner!

Re: What are you eating ??
A nice porterhouse steak in a nice restaurant but some foke are just strange.
Bloke and his wife come in. He apologised for being an hour early for his reservation and asked if a table was available.
The waiter showed him to a table. Two minutes later he is up asking for another table. He is shown another table sits there for all of 30 seconds before jumping up telling his missus to get her coat and loudly shouting if that s the best you can do we are leaving.
Waiter apologised. I would have told him to fook off.
Weird
