Wasting my time.
Went to a settlement meeting. The other side refused to make an offer . They simply told us our opening offer was too low.

Close friends of ours were on that particular roundabout with an Ins Co that has the letters V&L in the name, after 6yrs of offer/counter etc and eventually ending up winning every point in High Court, they still haven't got a penny of the £500k+ they won 18moths ago. I feel your pain Kwacky.Kwacky wrote:Wasting my time.

Running around in circles. I'm having one of those days where work is coming in all directions and from a variety of sources. I have no idea if I'm achieving anything today.

were discussing the idea of switching around the office, as it stands my desk is moving so my boss will see my screen at all times, not liking that idea, no more tankslap during work hours for me that will mean... not happy about it

No, its horrible aswell she is such a lovely person, actually made me really think about stuff as she is about the same age as my mum and her son is the same age as me and were quite similar, we sorta know each other as both in fairly successful local bands,so it all feels a little too close to home, just feel rubbish now, oh well if anything good comes from it its made me think more about taking my family for granted, I dont think I do, but still makes you think and realise how lucky I am to have 2 healthy parents still

A bit of house fettling then off to the QE to see the consultant to see what effect the higher dose of steroids is having.
I'll also be having a couple of minutes quiet reflection time at about 11 to remember those who lost their lives 70 years ago to enable us to live the lives we do today.
