This however is still far and away my fave Panigale colour. Looks kind of evil but classy.

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale
Two SL1299s going out the door at JHP today.
One wanted his gearshift reversed to race shift which meant the mechanic did a quick road test.
Beautiful piece of engineering and an epic sound. Not race bike loud though. Just a nice gruff growl.

I 'll be honest I don't think the Panigale sounds as good as my SP2
It sounds more buzzy than the low level booming bass of the Honda

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale
Emissions laws and noise tests make it no longer possible to sell a bike making the best sound.
I still think my 853 makes the best sound of any Ducati. the racebikes of Bayliss, Hodgson etc from that era were epic.

Those panels are from the bike featured in PB magazine earlier in the year.

Spoilt for choice with those Duke posted further up the page.....couldn't go wrong with any of them.
1st one ticks all the right boxes for me.
I think....

Re: DaytonAndy's 1299s Panigale
Got to admit I do like the Anniversario and its colours. That #44 bike is a bit special, just googled that image as it might be top of the list now!
I need the tank to stay red as don't want to touch it and it needs to be relatively cheap to reproduce.
I've been getting carried away

Went out for a little bimble last week. Rode a section without earplugs and the nose that thing makes really is special. Everyone I pass is so lucky
