Had a Autel scanner for my VW and was good bit of kit.

Not sure if your aware but be careful if it's a Chinese clone as a lot of them about especially on ebay which is full of them, especially Autel products and it's hard to tell them apart from the real thing.

If it is a clone when you plug in to your PC for updates the Autel server doesn't recognise it as genuine product so sends a virus to kill the chips apparently.

Hope the info is useful and if it is a clone just don't update it.

Seems like the helmet is being shipped with Fedex UK. I had known I wouldn't have bothered.

According to the tracking site they've tried 2 times (they've not). If the third attempt fails it goes back go the shop.

I've had problems with Fedex before. I saw a bloke put cards in 3 houses without even trying to deliver.

A pair of new tape measures, and a new (to me) depth micrometer. Mrs Gee killed the team tape measure in the house and my old one was an apprentice purchase in the late 70's that's unreadable under 1m, hence the purchase.
The depth mic is an eBay purchase for £20 delivered (£200 new) for a regular job at work.

Very true, it's an old school Starrett piece of kit as well. The Mitutoyo ones are good, but I grew up and learned with Starrett and it was a truly stunning price for an as new piece of kit. It's still got the calibration cert too. (y)
