Re: World Politics Stuff (not brexit)
I wonder how long before the elitist/monetary system that holds power everywhere tries to crush these ideas?

Barbados has voted to become a republic.
I wonder how many others will follow? Jamaica is supposed to be having a referendum next year.

Ghislaine Maxwell has been convicted of sex trafficking of a minor. It carries a 40 year jail sentence.
What's the betting on her 'committing suicide' in jail?????
Prince Andrew should be shitting himself.

CNN is stating the possibility of up to 65 years in prison, plus perjury charges still pending.
But I'm just splitting hairs, because either way the woman is 60 years old & will spend the rest of her life behind bars.
No loss.

Things are getting nasty in Kazakstan. The army have been firing at and killing protestors in Almaty. There's loads of video footage online. Take a look at @Den_2042 if you want to see what's going on.
Russia is sending "security peacekeeping forces" to help stabilise the country. Once they're in they are unlikely to leave. There's a lot of background to high gas prices causing the protests. Russia controls the gas.
The government has resigned over the protests.

I can see China and Russia flexing their muscles in the next year or two.
Be interesting to see if the US do anything really.

Really? Didn't see that coming. Not sure what that will mean, but severally very worrying possibilities spring to mind.
