are they suitable for British weather and commuting?

Kwacky.. they are one of the most compliant rain tyre I've ever used. You can still get heat into them and so long as you don't lean past the tread they are very grippy!

I lost a group of mates who all had road-orientated tyres on while using a very worn set of Supercorsa scrubs when it was absolutely hammering down. You can get nice powerslides too if you want to!

I guess I'll find out. Lol.
I'm a little worried how they will fair with lots of straight road commuting. But as its coming to the period of nice weather it seems a good time to put them on.

P.s. the times are all mine, and the bling is a selection of my favourite and hardest races.

Personally I hated them mate!! I came off on a roundabout a week after getting them when it was hot outside but the tyre were cold. You need heat in them. Before coming off I also used them in the pissing rain and had plenty of spins!! Wouldn't ever recommend them or get them myself. Oh and they square off quickly too!

If however you are using them for track then they are one of the best!!

However on the flip side I have heard people use them even in the winter months as their commuting tyre and never had a problem!!

I have had a set before. I had some for free to test.

It was in summer, and I did less commuting on them, but I did 2000miles and to be honest thought they were so grippy on corners. Gave lots of confidence. I've not tried them on cold days and needing to get them warm. But I'm sure I'll adjust.

Think you will have fun keeping the temp in them on cold days Image

I didn't like supercorsa's - great in the dry with heat in, but when cold... slippy.

I bought the RC8 and it had Supercorsa's on it. I then went to the IOM a couple of weeks afterwards with some chaps on here for a few days and it was damp. (gah)
