Watching the Liverpool Everton derby later but just picked up a washing machine from a familiar sounding address.

Went to the movies with Jess and the kids. Feck me it's pricey for a family of four!

So long as you take it steady I'm sure you'll be fine. You riding solo or taking someone with you to keep an eye on things?

Planted this years attempt at a veg crop with the kids. Went and bought a couple of new shirts for work, and then on the way home had warning lights on the dash indicating the DTC is buggered

Re: What are you doing today ??
Only partially awake this morning thanks to a tough week, however several cups of industrial strength coffee eventually got me going.
This afternoon was stripping fitted wardrobes out of my Mothers old house with MiniGee, a crap job that needed to be done, he did really well - despite the pair of us wearing the dust of ages afterwards.
Looking forwards to Fantastic Beasts with something chilled in a glass later on, before yet another early night to try and pay down some my outrageous sleep debt.

After the ride out went to the dump and got ride of loads of bits and pieces I no longer needed! It's surprising what you hold onto for no apparent reason!

Yeah, I know that one. In the space of 3 weeks I bought another bike, insured them both and had them both serviced.
I'm putting the kids on ebay.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Had to nip into our local outdoors warehouse and get some kit and a new pair of hiking boots for MiniGee (he now has bigger feet than me @Sz 8.5 - I'm a 7/8 depending on manufacturer), this is in preparation for a week away as of Thursday trying to pick up where we left off last October - when I received one of "those" calls. Fingers crossed it goes better this time.
This afternoon has been spent surrounding food, massaging Mrs Gee's dodgy shoulder (that old chestnut) and generally recharging batteries.

Feckin' around with the stupid r'tard disc brakes on a mountain bike. This set-up cost a fcuking fortune and had NEVER worked right. NEVER.

Wonder what were the rest of your kids doing, whist you were treating those 11x to scrabbling over rocks.?Monty wrote:Bouldering with 11 kids!

Woke up ill today so not going into work. As it's my resignation period I won't get paid for today but sometimes pay isn't everything. This isn't good to be honest as I was joking with my boss just the other day saying i'll be ill and won't be coming to work...well that teaches me!

Wishing I was on the bike instead of being stuck in my dreary office, its scorchio outside.
