Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I still think the Speed Triple I posted at the start of the thread is the biggest bargain.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
Apart from being double the age only 750 quid cheaper! Plus not having a custom paint job and lots of carbon bits.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
Granted it's a 2006 model but it's only got 1200 miles on the clock and it's covered with loads of accessories. Those Arrow race systems aren't cheap. Plus it's a 1050 and D6Nutz might find it easier to go from a 1 litre twin to a 1 litre triple than down to a 675cc triple.
I like both of them and I think either would be a good buy.

Nutz get loads of test rides in different bikes in my opinion now you are in the market. That's the only way you will find out what you personally like

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
You may find an eBay advert live tomorrow for an RSV!
I'm very tempted to take a risk and just buy without test riding loads of bikes, with the thought in mind to just sell it on quickly if it doesn't suite.
Is that too risky is the question?

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I think we all have a general idea on which bikes we might like. I would have thought that a Superduke is close enough to your current bike but with the changes you want, without it being too big a risk.

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
If you're going to another big V twin it's not a massive leap of faith. But if you're buying, why not try before you buy?

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
I like the super Duke you posted Nutz and the 848 SF Duke posted sounds good too. If it's ownered by a Ducats Enthusiast it will most probably be like new too

Re: D6Nutz's next bike
That's a good price for the bike and having the belts done is a massive bonus. Not sure I want to go all the way to Cornwall though.duke63 wrote:Jon, there is a red 848 Streetfighter advertised in the latest Ducati Owners Club mag for £5,500. 4,950 miles and will be sold with new belt service.
