Sorry. Scratch that. I'm watching someone at the moment. I think I'm going to go nuts watching this one.D41 wrote:My name's Michael.
That's a big jump! That's about what I pay a year in rates (council tax) but we have no street lighting at all, no water or sewage (on rain tanks and Biocycle). The only thing the council do is collect my garage!Blade wrote:£750 increase in council tax and as we will live on a private road we even have to pay for our own street lighting. How does that make sense.
A good idea to have street lighting, especially in todays society.Blade wrote:I believe so. I think there on a timer or so I'm told but not installed yet. If there LED they might no be too expensive to run hopefully.
Worst case I can turn them off and replace with some LED security lights with pir sensor. Have to see when I get in tbh.
In fairness there only there as I insisted on street lighting. Originally there was nothing planned. I got mine and 4 neighbours done otherwise there would be nothing but darkness.
Doesn't that just come from it being private??Blade wrote:£750 increase in council tax and as we will live on a private road we even have to pay for our own street lighting. How does that make sense.
Some shots of the show house Cookie. Ours isn't finished yet but it's the same apart from furniture.C00kiemonster wrote:A good idea to have street lighting, especially in todays society.Blade wrote:I believe so.
