What do you want to praise today?
So we have a 'vent' thread, why not celebrate the good things that happen?
Yesterday and today I had a trouble free drive into/out of work. Most people were using the left hand lane when they could and people were courteous. This continued all the way into the town center on my way to and from the gym.
The difference this made to my mood when I got in was astounding. Proud of those other drivers yesterday

Because it's not the British way to celebrate things that go well!Cav wrote:So we have a 'vent' thread, why not celebrate the good things that happen?
/goes off to post in the vent thread about people being unnecessarily happy first thing in the morning

The beautiful early mornings we have had this week.
Sun rising, clear blue skies and a pleasant breeze. Been out for a run every morning this week. Its life affirming!

Thanks Duke for giving some valuable input To be fair, I did get to drive in with the view of a full moon in a clear sky this morning which was rather pleasant

I would like to praise my son for pooping just as Nanny came to pick him up so she had to deal with it rather than me!

I want to praise my puppy dog (he's still a pup - honest) for taking a hit for the team. Hornet sting in the nut sack - hasn't sat down for nearly 2 days and they swelled up like a space hopper
Fecking hero. (Glad it wasn't me )
I should laugh but....

Re: What do you want to praise today?
I have to praise the maker's of the sports bra for a girl who does the boxercise class. She's a petite thing, about 5 foot 2 and I reckon 8 1/2 stone.
Her boobs must be FF or GG. They are massive.
How her sports bra copes I'll never know.
