Waiting for Harry to come out of surgery. Of all the times he been put to sleep this was the worse. Needle would not go in and they used injection instead of gas to send him off so was a bit traumatic glad mum was out side.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Fingers crossed for the lad.
I hate it when you have to hold your kids when they go under general. My wife was supposed to do it for our son, but me having done the same for our daughter refused to allow my wife to go through that hollow feeling you get.
I'm sure he'll be bouncing around again in no time.

Thanks he will be fine I'm sure. But they look very lifeless when they go under. I've done it every time.

I had to hold my boy when he was 2 going under a general for an op, Iike you and Kwacky both said it's an unexpected flood of emotion and I wasn't ready for it at all. My ex didn't even come to the hospital, she just went to work and had the night to herself while I spent the night in a chair at his bedside. So many warning signs in retrospect

Hope little Rocket is ok dude.
Our lads have been put to sleep but always with their mum at their side so can't comment from a personal experience but I imagine it's a pretty horrible emotional experience.

The worst part for me was when the GA kicked in and they go limp in your arms.

Rocket I'm sure he will be absolutely fine but it must be a horrible feeling. When he wakes up make sure he has dome of his favourite bird and pieces to hand and your around him he'll be smiling in no time!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Hope all goes well Rocket!!
I had a few operations as a child and the last time was the worst. They couldn't get the needle in and I was in awful pain but they finally got me to sleep with the gas - I counted 13 sheep. When I finally woke up I had the needle in my foot where they tried both elbows, hands then finally got it in my foot of all places.
The operation itself was a success just the before and after that was hectic.
If you can take any comfort from the fact I'm as much of a d!ck now as I was before the operation then I'm glad!!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Good luck dude hope it goes OK. Kids and hospital, bloody awful experience.
I spent a night with a three year old holding an oxygen mask in one hand, the nurse's personal iPad in the other and one eye glued to the blood oxygen motor screen.
I never want to see another episode of Peppa Pig as long as I live!

Re: What are you doing today ??
Was setting up my phone last night. It came with an adaptor so I thought everything would just get transferred...how wrong I was!! Hours and I do mean hours later it was done! However I had to reset every single password I've got even here. I was trying to get 675cc set up again but can't seem to reset the bloody password I have no idea why. Love this phone!!

Samsung have it right with the S7. It comes with an adapter that means you can file transfer from any phone (including iPhones) in a few minutes and certain apps passwords transfer over too. You can be selective also

It's a great idea. But I'm. A bit gun ho with things and I don't think big used it to its full potential. However it is fully set up now and it is greatCav wrote:Samsung have it right with the S7.
