Back at work. Only 75 emails to deal with so that wasn't bad
I'm struggling to get going though. Typical for the weather to be so good when I'm back at work.

Same, after a hectic week last week and a 300 mile day yesterday I have needed a day off, I did manage to order a timing belt kit for the car though.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Working on the Swedish cage, a new belt kit to replace the cam timing belt and both auxiliary belts, strange set-up for those with one taking power from the crank to the A/C compressor, which has a double pulley to then send power to the alternator. So if either belt fails you loose the alternator which on a modern car is a call the AA shituation.
The dealer I bought this car from promised repeatedly that the timing belt was new... I'm glad I didn't trust him as this was the original Volvo belt and quite well worn. Thinner teeth compared to the new one and very floppy.
And yeah, my neighbours think I'm mad as a hatter for working on my own vehicles, when I was a boy there was someone working on a car on this street almost every weekend.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I had the most fantastic weekend with my family.
Benny started his football lessons on Saturday with his friend which went really well and yesterday we went mountain biking before having visitors to see the pups. He was really sad when the visitors left though bless him.
We finished off with the best curry I've had in a long time topped off with mango chutney on poppadoms, naan and onion bhajis.. bloody marvelous!

Going for a spin in a few.....it's supposed to be 90F today, but it's still in the 60s right now...so a quick cup of coffee and then I'm out of here.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I was asked to come in to the office today.
It's technically autumn so the heating is on full blast. It's like a sauna.
My boss has come in with a chest infection and cold symptoms. It's ok though, he doubts it's covid, he's not done a test. He'll take tomorrow off as a sick day.
