What's happening where you used to live?
The road we lived on was just off a main road but it was very quiet. On the corner of our road and the main road is an old shop. There's a planning application to make it a multi-occupancy house.
The other end was by a river and parkland. A really nice spot. The road that runs along the river has no houses. There's a small factory on the corner of our road and the river road which does mountaineering equipment. It's got a really fancy Art Deco front. Lovely building set back from the road and mostly hidden by a well kept garden. You wouldn't know it was there from our house. . He's selling up and the plan is to turn it into apartments. Not
sure how much they can do as the frontage is listed but it does cover a decent area and it's only the front that protected. You could get half a dozen houses on the plot.
Behind the factory running along the river road is empty land. Tesco bought it 20 years ago and did nothing to it. Then they sold it to Seven Capital. They plan to turn it into mixed use including flats, houses, shops and a drive through. The best way to get to it will be down our old road.
