Blimey, how can you not? There's so much going on surely there must be something you enjoy, even the football?

Re: Rio Olympics
I must admit we have watched alot mainly as my lads love it and can't get enough. I have enjoyed the competition and have watched and enjoyed lots of sports I would never normally watch so all in for me it's been a great event and very entertaining.
Hopefully it's motivated alot of young people the world over to get involved in sport and have good sportsmanship.

Re: Rio Olympics
Hard to pinpoint what it is but it just leaves me cold. Just have no interest in it at all. I can honestly say i have watched none of it.Kwacky wrote:Blimey, how can you not? There's so much going on surely there must be something you enjoy, even the football?

Re: Rio Olympics
It's once every 4 years....it's 'seldom' enough that I usually find the time to watch at least some of it, and I have to admit I've watched more than I usually do this time around But it does have cycling, which I'm really into, and a few other things.
I kinda enjoy the Winter Olympics more...can relate a bit better to some dude/dudette battling it out with the mountain in the downhill, etc. But there's fewer sports....feckin' ice dancing & what have you...../snore.

Re: Rio Olympics
The Brits did good. We've come far when you consider how poor we've been in recent years. Wasn't it just the 1 gold in Atlanta?

Re: Rio Olympics
So, with me being a Dual Citizen and all that....does that mean I get to celebrate the medals of TWO countries combined??
I think it should.

Re: Rio Olympics
I really enjoyed the womens hockey. Never really watched it before. Watched some of the Golf, boxing and BMX racing too.
The handball thing looked like a shit sport.
Even watched 10mins of Badminton.
I think this was the most of any Olympics I've watched.
