Holiday
I'm off tomorrow to Fethiye in Turkey. My dad has a nice place out there. It's on top of a small apartment block. It's got 2 floors, 2 bathrooms, a sun terrace and 3 bedrooms. It's on the outskirts of Fethiye.
It's nice and quiet this time of year. Weather wise it's in the low 20s which means the kids can play out in it without me having to worry about my porcelain skinned daughter getting frazzled.
Fethiye is a nice fishing village, not too touristy. Everyone is very friendly and the kids are welcomed into bars, cafes and restuarants. One of the places we go to eat is family run so we leave our kids playing about with theirs. Last year we walked past on our way to somewhere else as we knew it was closed for a family party. They invited us in, fed us and gave us drink.

These ruins are about 5 minutes away from where my dad's place is

Olu Deniz is about 30 minutes away by bus and that's ideal.

Re: Holiday
That looks really nice mate, hope you have a good holiday. I'll try and keep the place clean and tidy until you get back..
I've got another 4 weeks to wait until I get away.

Re: Holiday
looking good .
I can feel the atmosphere from the photos and sounds great.
Mines not nearly as swanky, but looking forward to a week in Scotland on the bike end of May

Re: Holiday
I know Bodrum. I went there more than 20 years ago (how time flies). I suspect it's changed a lot in that time.

Re: Holiday
Looks very attractive Kwacky.
Hope you have a great time, and that you'll unwind successfully enough for all the stresses & hassles you've been coping with to fade away.
