Re: What are you doing today ??
About to go postal.
A woman I work with cannot let you finish what you're saying without interrupting. Everyfeckingtime. I was giving her an update and mid sentence she blurts out "but what about the so and so" which was met with "let me finish and you'll find out".
I think she got the message.
Until the next time.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Managed to cancel the Honda insurance - Devitt's quote was £650 with a £1000 excess for the Harley. But got refunded.
Went online to buy the quote I'd been offered by Bikesure. £258. Nice. Click on buy. Enter details.
"You already have an account, please call us or use a different email address".
So, I call them. 45 minutes of going over ALL my details AGAIN, and they give me the online price anyway.
Insurance companies really need to work on streamlining their service integration.
Still, done. Phew.

Re: What are you doing today ??
Renewed my IAM membership. I had to ask my observer why I had a renewal come through as I thought I had already done not through the club. It turns out that the club and IAM are 2 different memberships. However he was surprised that they didn't need renewing at the same time. Anyway now I'm up to date!

One of my the things that pisses me off more than anything. Shows disrespect and disregard for what you are saying. And like you say if they just shut the F up they'd usually find out.Kwacky wrote:About to go postal.

I love it even more when they start talking about something totally unrelated. Ex was great at that one.

Depends on the insurance you're with. At the moment the guys I am with don't offer anything. However when I pass and my insurance is up for renewal I will try this surety Insurance? Can't quite remember what they are called about they offer the best discount apparently as they are solely for IAM members I believe.Kwacky wrote:Do you get much discount on your insurance if you're IAM?

Re: What are you doing today ??
First day back in the office after working out in Ireland which is quite nice.
I'm investigating seals for different applications to see if there is already a proven technology for the application I require - it's proving quite difficult to find anything.
I'll be going straight to the gym after work to burn off the 3 Rib-eye and 1 sirloin steaks I had over there too!

Usual day at work but working from home this afternoon as I need to interview a few people by phone. The house is empty so I can crack on with my work without interruptions.

So long as she's not as manic and needy as some of the female bikers on twitter you should be fine

That one particular nutter is now on mute. If I see another photo of her in her gym gear looking like she's about to boil a rabbit I'll end her problems for good.

Re: What are you doing today ??
There's a few I follow who post in gym gear, but I don't think I know that one. There's an awful lot of "notice me, notice me, notice me" ones, but I tend not to, because all they want is the being noticed. Any attempts at conversation get rebuffed, but they've got what they wanted anyway.

Celebrating, not today but yesterday my boss gave me an 8% pay rise, my bonus landed and I received a tax refund from the tax man! Not a bad day!
