Fingers crossed its summat cheap Tony.
Got to a garage in Muir of Ord on Thursday morning. Battery was charging while it was running but slowly discharging when ignition was off. New battery on and fired straight up. The old battery was knackered, some cheap shitty no brand thing. Idles shit though and runs rough under 40mph and a couple of times when coming to a stop, pulled clutch in and the revs have dropped right down and the bike has stalled. Got me home fine on Thursday night. I went from Inverness to Triumph in Edinburgh to see if anything was thrown up on the diagnostics but it was clear. No faults or stored codes. Runs like a dream above 40mph. I had a car that was doing a similar thing, turned out it needed a new coil pack so I'm going to change the coils and spark plugs.

I think it'd be tough having a daughter at that stage of life. Boys are little terrorists running amuck.....but you expect that. Girls all think they're little princesses and everyone is there to cater to their whims.

Plus I grew up with a sister, and she's a certified r'tarded wannabe princess. I despise her with a passion.

Difficult, but we may have to be less than subtle. Mrs Cookie doesn't like him either so for once its not just me :D

Part 2 - he's now stated he doesn't eat chicken on the bone, cheese or spicy things.

Great considering I've just done a BBQ of Burgers with cheese, spicy sausage and chicken wings |(

Time to start making him unwelcome :P

Does he want his food chewed up and spat into his mouth too? Sound like a bit of a mummy's boy.

Yep.

It'd be "Our home - our rules....Don't like it? Get the fcuk out."

The End.

One can only blame his upbringing. Single parent home???

Doesn't eat meat on the bone or cheese, this guy sounds as if most of the rest of France probably don't like him either. You may be be in a queue on this one Cookie.

I reckon you raised a pretty clever daughter and she'll work it out soon enough, better than you being the bad dad.

But if you accidentally back over him.......

I do hope so matey.

Part 3 - he's sat outside doing nothing, not sunbathing, not talking, not reading. Oh and he's in a black T shirt and shorts in 32 degrees sweating and won't wear cream.

I said good morning to him this morning and got a vague grunt.

Its so tempting to use the 'you could do better' line. The inner chimp in me wants to do so, the sensible long term in me wants to say nothing.

I've not worried about this type of thing seriously before but i do really want to punch him when she's sat with him holding hands etc etc etc). I'm disappointed in her too tbh. Could do a lot better.

Fwiw I understand that the most effective way is to allow your dismay at his conduct to be badly guarded. Let her be constantly embarrassed by his behaviour and attitude, and she should soon see sense.
The trick is to be unduly accommodating. The more unreasonable & awkward you allow him to be, the more he should be undermining himself in her eyes.

The Highways Agency allowing large/wide loads to be moved during daylight hours.

2 lanes of the M6 taken up this morning by a wide load. AT 7.30am on a Monday morning, going past Birmingham.

Why can't they give these things a little thought?

I agree, large wives should only be moved under cover of darkness (giggle)

Plenty of large wives by the pool today. Glad I'm coming home as I doubt there will be any food left by tomorrow. (lol)
