Lavished some tlc on the big 10 after its trackday.
Full service which included coolant change, brake fluid change, oil and filter change plus all the listed checks in the maintenance manual. I will clean and oil the K&N air filter when I have more time and probably reinstall the QS why I'm in there.
That and the new rear hoop I fitted last week and she is good for another year

Had a fabulous track day at Castle Combe with the advanced guys. What a day. Really gave it the beans and I was even lapping people...although the beginning of the day it was greasy and I was learning so stuck to a slower pace and let people passed when needed! Those M7RR are fantastic. Absolutely loved it...think I'm now addicted!!

There was this 22 year old guy who was on a 300 Ninja...WOW he hammered it around track. So surprised a little 300 could move like that. I followed him for a while and he was very good on the lines and braking points!

I've noticed that the roads are cooler and a bit more greasy now. It's that time of year where you have to start looking out for leaves on the road.

I think I do. I want to book more for next year but think I'd stick to the road bike only days as people look after them and are less likely to be d&*ks out on track!!Kwacky wrote:Nice one Rossgo. Sounds like you've got the bug.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
The thing that annoys me most about this is it happens regular on most trackdays.
The events are not run without Marshalls or an overall Event Controller in contact with the Marshalls.
Why oh why do these dangerous riders not get black flagged an warned about there conduct or if deemed appropiate removed from the event.
The organisers always seem to make a big thing about this problem at the monring safety brief and then just seem to forget about. They do little that I can see (I hope I'm wrong) to proactively control a safe event and for want of a better explanation police the idiots.

On this occasion the organiser caught it on CCTV and he was bollocked and warned. I think that means if he does it again he's banned from their events.

That's very good to hear Kwacky
My personal experience is that doesn't happen often enough unfortunately.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Fwiw the only time I saw someone black flagged for his riding at a trackday was a guy that couldn't even stay on the Tarmac on a warm up lap, I've complained about certain riders occasionally and the answer is "ok - we'll be watching him" , that's all they do of course - watch him ride badly and cause problems.
Tbh I think TDO's don't want to rock the boat as if they sack someone from a trackday it'll be all over the forums and could cost them bookings, probably from more idiots - but it's all money and the margins are small enough as it is.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Reading the track users forums it seems that people are now getting pissed off with the idiots, so track day companies are starting to ban people.

Just dropped the SP off for its annual MOT so got an hour to kill. Got PB mag as a digital copy so will read that on my phone why I wait. Never thought I would get into digital magazines and would prefer hard copies but have to say I quote like digital now tbh.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Couldn't be bothered getting fully leathered up to go a few miles up the road and than have to sit around and wait so went in jacket and jeans.
What I did like though was the Dainese in boots are aboslutely superb for riding in jacket and jeans. The level of protection is motogp spec but the fit under jeans is spot on and a very versatile piece of kit.
If I had a cafe racer or similar I would definitely feel safe in kevlar jeans, dainese in boots and a decent jacket.

Are they biking jeans? I'm hearing good reports about the current jeans.
