Going TV and satbox shopping. Our current Freeview set up is at the end of its life with the tv's locking up and the recorder box losing its settings at random, so it's gotta go. We'll get the kit today and then get the dish and wiring organised for next week, that way it can all be set up in one go.
Off to MiL's tonight for dinner, so overdone meat and veggies and cheap wine. Lovely.

Reading some YouTube comments. Wow there really are some key board warriors out there. They don't argue they just throw words at each other...what is the world coming too.
Before reading these I've been watching videos on asteroids destroying earth and what will happen...if the world is full of these muppets then this asteroid best hurry up!!

About to head off to a musical, Aladdin, one of the birthday gifts I gave Jess. Had plenty of gin so it should be OK

This is the exact reason I stopped reading the comments when I watch YouTube clips. There's no winning when you argue with someone that convinced of their own opinion, whether they are right or not.Rossgo wrote:Reading some YouTube comments. Re: What are you doing today ??
Went for a ride but just wasn't happening today.
I wasn't in the groove mainly as been up since 330 am with bad stomach but roads were absolutely full of traffic, idiots and old bill. Got pulled by one set of coppers for a bike check and warning and then got tailed by an unmarked BMW for a while.
Glad to be home tbh. Only good thing is met up with Rocket and managed to help him with a few issues which was good to do and nice to see the old boy

Went to a big motorcycle apparel store and kitted out Jess for riding gear and got myself a new jacket and Draggin' jeans for the short rides into town for pub lunches, the whole zip up two piece is a bit much when you are in the mall.

Touring Italy in a drop top, high performance Jaguar with a good looking blonde in the passenger seat and lots and lots of beautiful Italian beer and food. Does it get any better
Have fun both of you and enjoy the good times. Plenty of life long memories to be made

Tell you what - beautiful country but the roads are shit. Really really bad. Even on the autostrada there's potholes that would swallow a bike.
The italians are funny though - everyone wants a race

You forgot the women. There was one yesterday Mrs Cookiemonster wouldnt let me take a picture of. OMG. She'd also got the best back tattoo i've ever seen on a woman in the form of a pair of angels wings.Blade wrote:Touring Italy in a drop top, high performance Jaguar with a good looking blonde in the passenger seat and lots and lots of beautiful Italian beer and food. Doing today??
Getting lost on my MTB....without water...and I got 'turned around' somehow and lost my bearings......all the streets around my neighbourhood are "San Sommit","Valley Vista", "Vista View" "View The Frickin' Vista", etc.
On the bright side I got a good warmup in......did about 15 miles or sommit....maybe go back out again after breakfast.

Just ride as every road is good

I know what you mean! Started making a pile of Daytona bits, thought it would be a boot load trip but might have to take the trailer!!Kwacky wrote:Getting all the paperwork sorted for the zx6r.
