Pulled the tank off the Daytona and stripped it down and tail fairing off. Did plan to strip it all off but other crap robbed me of time. Get the rest done tomorrow and off to the painter with any luck!!

Light when I left the house this morning. It's a big difference riding in the daylight when you're in traffic, I managed to do a lot of filtering today and more cagers spotted me before I got to them.

Sunday I took all the covers off the Gixer, Charged the battery, fired her up.....sounds like a bloody racing machine lovely, pissed off the street as I really wanted to get her warmed up and hear that engine sing ha ha ha
Went for a quick wobble up the road hehe... on it....
Just to make sure it pulled away quickly still... as you do.

It's only taken 3 years but finally got my D600 fairings to the painter
Going to be silver to match the UJ nose cone, with a black satin sponsor section on the lower fairing.
Already have a full decal set I got Pitty to do a few years back when I first crashed it.

Not sure what the problem is morning rush hour round here. Is when the farmer moves 60 cows down the lane to the field from milking.
"80mph" sorry officer I possibly could not have done that I'm no Valentino Rossi.

Nice empty roads on the way home. Tempted to spank it but there are too many unmarked cars on my routes.

Ordered a new gasket for the SX. I noticed the right can is blowing where it meets the link pipe. Everything is tight and in place but I'll strip it down and take a proper look if I get time over the weekend.

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Not today but later this year.
Through my local IAM group one of the observers has arranged a Wheelie School day at Dunsfold Park in June, I messaged him this morning and asked if places were still available (places for motorbike related activities get swallowed up quickly and I'm usually left missing out) but this time I got in early enough I have just paid him...looking forward to it now as I wanted to don't last year but just didn't get around to doing it, I couldn't miss out on this opportunity!!
