If it's the same as TAGB then it's four directional punch. http://www.blackbeltschools.com/syllabu ... attern=953" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Technially it's not a pattern, it's an exercise.
Your first pattern is Chon Ji http://www.blackbeltschools.com/syllabu ... attern=940" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
If you follow the TAGB patterns and grading at your club then that blackbelt school website needs to go in your favourties, it's invaluable.

Re: The new improved fitness thread
Op Massive must be starting to work, I've had a couple of comments this week leading me to think that the copious amounts of chicken and protein I've been consuming as well as the 2 gym sessions per day are paying off.
Or at least starting to.
In the gym on Friday I saw a couple of my students. One of them came over and said
"f****ng hell, look at the guns on you!"
They're nowhere near as big as I want them to be, but it was a nice compliment nonetheless.
I still don't have any definition, but I'm going for mass so I can't expect miracles!
Or at least starting to.

To be honest I think he was more shocked because he'd gone from seeing me in a Dustcoat over my uniform, which hides all kinds of "physiques" pretty well, to seeing me in a RAF issue t-shirt at least one size too small!
But I'll still take it as a win!

Re: The new improved fitness thread
Leg day today.
Squats, followed by trap bar deadlifts.
Which threatened to bring on last night's headache. (I think the rideout took more out of me than I realised)
Then more leg work at lunchtime, which definitely brought the headache on, so had to cut it short.

Re: The new improved fitness thread
Shoulder is giving me real grief.
Don't know what I've done to it, feels like super DOMS but I haven't done shoulders in 2 weeks.
Not sure if I've pulled something putting a tantrummy child to bed, or if it's something to do with when I dislocated it (I was doing trap bar deadlifts on Monday, may have pulled something but felt nothing at the time.), or what.
But it hurts.

Easing back in with a mix of squats, overhead press and deadlifts. I was very weak on the deadlifts.

Re: The new improved fitness thread
Shoulder is better.
Went to bed on Wednesday with it giving me gyp, woke up Thursday morning without even a hint of pain.
I wonder if I trapped a nerve or something.
Anyhoo, I decided to give the weights a miss for the week,no point in pushing it.
But I had half an hour spare this aft so I decided to give my new gloves a try on the bag.
20 minutes later and I'm absolutely knackered!
I really should get round to sorting my cardio out!
