What ails you today?
Got an appointment with the doctor for this chest infection. It's been almost 4 weeks. It's left me really tired. I've been to the gym twice in those 4 weeks. Hopefully it'll be sorted soon.

Re: What ails you today?
Mouth ulcers.
I'm really prone to them. Bonjela does cock-all, Iglu isn't bad but 9 times out of 10 I get the ulcer in a place that will just rub off the stuff with my teeth or something.
I have two right now!

3 weeks for me, some sort of virus. Feels like a hangover and I'm falling asleep everywhere. No energy and I'm out of breath after 3 flights of stairs.

Re: What ails you today?
Flu bug, it started as a stinking cough and cold and utter exhaustion, now I'm just fatigued and dizzy after one set of stairs, which is a pain as my job involves a lot of climbing ladders and working at height, hence I'm unfit for work and getting stir crazy.
I also found out I had low blood pressure due to mismanagement of my regular meds, which means blood tests and more pills....

Not wishing to sound alarmist, but have you been checked out by a doctor yet?Monty wrote:3 weeks for me, some sort of virus. Feels like a hangover and I'm falling asleep everywhere. No energy and I'm out of breath after 3 flights of stairs.
That is identical to the symptoms I had at the start of my heart failure and it got prgressively worse.
Don't meant to teach you to suck eggs, but I also thought it was a virus/bug and/or quit smoking wthdrawl symptoms. I was wrong n both counts.

Re: What ails you today?
Cheers T.C. but think I'm OK as the wife and 4 kids have it as well, identical symptoms. Plus I had a full man health check up not that long ago, liver, bloods, etc etc.T.C. wrote:Not wishing to sound alarmist, but have you been checked out by a doctor yet?Monty wrote:3 weeks for me, some sort of virus. Plus I managed to run a mile last weekend with my kids for sport relief, so it can't be that bad.
I do have to be careful though, my Dad died aged 46 from heart disease and I'm 43 now!

Re: What ails you today?
Doctor confirmed my chest infection. Right side is worse. I've been told not to exercise for 2 weeks and been given a course of antibiotics.

You hear about all these computer viruses & stuff, & I really don't want to be getting sick at my age.

You lot are ready for the knackers yard!
Me, I'm a picture of health
Apart from the daily medicated dyspepsia, hemacromotosis, constant skin cancer biopsies and suspect IBS

Re: What ails you today?
I've not been sleeping too well lately. My wife has started snoring.
Yesterday I felt exhausted, so I went to bed about 9.30 and slept.
Today I feel knackered but at least the headache has gone.

Re: What ails you today?
I used to have that problem. One of the advantages of being a biker is wearing ear plugs. I wear them in bed as well, shuts her out perfectly.Kwacky wrote:I've not been sleeping too well lately. My wife has started snoring.
I have used ear plugs when I sleep for nearly 30 years and SWMBO can snore to her hearts content
