I don't think his bike is good enough for that this year. In terms of performance they all seem to be a bit closer to each other. Even on that massive straight no one was really pulling away.

He was obviously trying to do what he did the 2nd half of last year and break away early, shame as if him, bradl and smith had stayed upright would have been a free for all towards the end lol

That was a good proper race that. I didn't mind the commentary, I mainly watched BBC coverage last year and is deffo much better than that. I watch the live stream online and the quality was superb, the only buffering was when my internet connection dropped (swear)

I'm aiming to finish the City2Surf (14km) in under an hour this year (did 65.27 last year) so thats a 6.50/mile average (with hills) I need to get too. I've been punching out that pace over 5 km on the treadmill ...

... hill we was putting extra effort in. I want to try and get my average for a 6.2 mile run (10k) down to under 7 min per mile. That is my goal this year. Sound like you will do it too. I never managed below 7min miles. I blame the windy conditions (giggle)

Waiting for news about my nan. She's been admitted into hopsital. Her daughters have been asked if the hospital should allow her to pass away if she dies or if they should try and revive her. She was very ill last year but made a good recovery. I think her time has come now though.
