... in your street, the bike falls over, and you spend an hour or so fixing the scratch marks on the engine cover before taking it back to the dealer. Who is not fooled for a moment, I might add. (facepalm)

The SLR was replaced by the SA80, which was mostly plastic. I think that came into service in 1986. No idea who made it.
