Doubled the quote for an extra 100cc or so? What a joke. I find it very hard to see how it increases their risk by much at all. It just increases their excuses to my mind. But insurance can be very fickle....my rates went DOWN when I added another bike...then back up a touch ...

... The problem is it takes a while for those changes to take effect. But the increase in the discount rate means that the insurers have to increase their reserves now, so we'll see an immediate increase.
