Re: It was 20 years ago today..........

At the time it was heart stoppingly beautiful.
It still looks DDG 20 years on IMHO.

However (sorry Duke) I now prefer the looks of my 675.
The true test, I guess, will be if my bike still retains the same impact in 20 years time.

... for 4 days on track. £120 flights. Shared a hire car. I didnt add up the fuel, but maybe a bit less. Cartegena is a lower speed track. Tyres - same here, 2 rears and a front, but still some left in the rear I put on whilst there. I can feel a Tankslap Euro rip coming on :)

I think venture shield is made by 3m. I have used 3m and venture shield and there the same product. You are correct they are both made by 3M, however they are different products. 3M bought ventureshield a few years ago as it was outselling their own product as it ...

Actually Duke, that's exactly what put's me off treating myself to something exotic.
I simply couldn't carve my way through the traffic (like I did today) or hoon round a racetrack with the same happy abandon if I was that precious about my bike.

... moment. I was thinking of going up to a 500 or 600. I haven't tried to ride a bike as large as that before, and in my mind it seems easy. Just the same as now but faster. I just wanted to ask someone who knows what's up, what can I expect?
