Re: New Car

... were all given usage of an F type for a week so they could tell anyone who asked how good they were. He was saying how the engine blocks are the same whether its a V6 or a V8. The V6 just has the last two cylinders blanked off. V6s. Middle one of the range. 380bhp. V8 is just too much IMO. Plus ...

Re: Insurance Loan Cars

They delivered a brand spanking new Subaru Impreza. (nod)

I did have fun "running it in" for the three weeks I had it. (giggle)

Re: lean angles?

Same here - not for the road, besides the speed required being fairly deep into license losing territory, I'd be worried about R/Handers and catching a cats eye or stone with my knee.

Confidence, ever lose it ?

... previous to this bike Ive not ridden anything since the D650 and that was about 5 yrs ago, the GPZ is a big old Skool bruiser without about the same power output as the D650 but heavier and with different handling characteristics, in fairness she's not too bad a ride for a 30 yrs old bike, thing ...

Re: Insurance Loan Cars

They have basically got carte blanche on the jobs they get sent by insurance companies. But to be honest, all industries are the same, as soon as they know an insurance company are picking up the bill, they inflate the job so much! When we had a burst pipe at home the builders/decorators ...

However, when reading the paper work which came with the A3, I saw the daily hire rate of the car......£172+vat.......WHAT ...

Re: 3 miles down

I can't accept that a human body at 3 miles down would look the same.

The skull cannot withstand that sort of pressure. The rib cage is designed to protect two large air sacs.

Take a belt and wrap it around an arm or leg then pull. Doesn't the belt constrict or does the limb remain the same?
