Rode down to the B4364 towards Ludlow, a favourite piece of road. Didn't ride right to the end but stopped near Cleedownton for a drink turned round and rode it back again.
It really is great to ride on any bike.

Looks like a cracking day for some racing. Hoping to be on the road in about an hour or so.

... the rev limiter. (Also happened when I changed down instead of up as the gears are the opposite way to mine.) The on to a tight and twisty B road I know quite well. All I can say is wow this bike is so fast to go from right to left lean and back again. Total shock. It has the electronic suspension ...

... above.: Your post suggests that your body position is wrong for the track. On our 675.cc forum trackday last year, one of our highly experienced road riders did exactly what you are describing & you are likely to emanate him if you don’t address your riding style. In his case, he literally ...

Yeah I wasn't too confident on the last session as tyres felt a bit weird. Never experienced it before. Had to back off a bit. Tyres running are pilot road 3.. Yes shoulder seems bobbly with chunks of rubber.

Agreed, just the wrong day really, not in the mood to deal with stupid people, really I would like to put on my leathers and lid and just block out the outside world today and go riding, round a track would be even better as no idiots on the road there but ill take what I can get right now lol

(f1) for the SBS dual sintered. They do me fine for road and track. As mentioned above the Dual Carbons have a pain in the neck run in procedure, and also if you want to go back. Plus talking to people who run them at trackdays/racing they take a couple ...

I don't mind doing decent speeds in the wet. Having confidence in your tyres really helps. And what Perky says is spot on as well. Agreed, most road tyres have more than enough grip to allow you to ride the same in the wet as dry. The problem is re less relaxed on the bike (not excluding me) ...

thats because heavy rain washes all the grease and crap off the road so it makes perfect sense.

Most of the tyres work better with a decent amount of water on the road than just damp.
Edit. In my opinion. Before I get hit with stats and data

They've been great on the track, but I'm looking forward to getting rid of them on the road. I'm going with blade's recommendation next time.duke63 wrote:Personally i would avoid EBC's.
I didn't feel they were very consistent.

Re: Brake Pads
Sintered SBS should do you for the road.
EBC are good but are supposed to be quite harsh on the discs.

Re: Brake Pads
I currently have EBC sintered pads and they have held up brilliant over 2 trackdays and never had an issue on the road with them, I had Carbone Lorraine SBK pads before and they were also very good but maybe a bit too harsh on the road for me, they had a lot more intial bite than ...

Thanks Godzilla, I'll have a good look around tomorrow & see what seem to fit best in store! Hopefully I'll choose well cause it could be a while before I get to road test them on the bike
