Metzeler M7RR - First Ride

... I first started riding.. Things started very cautiously as it had been raining very heavily the day before and I wasn't sure how clear and dry the roads where. It didn't take long to find out they where fairly clear and dry 8) The first section of the ride is fairly slow, which suits given the ...

... looking at changing the bars for some with adjustable angles. Can't seem to get it out of my head that the bar angle is just a little extreme for road use so might get some of these in a month or so. This will allow me to run them either as they are now or with the angle adjusted by 4 degrees ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Took the Mutley for the sort of ride I haven't done since last summer. Choose a turning off a main road and just keep riding. Went down some narrow lanes, some with grass growing in the middle :D , but the sun was shining and the views were fantastic ( especially the fit ...

Re: Trickle Charger Usage

I never put the battery on trickle charge, just disconnect it and take it off when the bike goes away in winter - then when it's ready to go back on the road I just charge before putting it back on the bike.

Re: The on-going tyre saga

So I was thinking of trying out some Michelin Pilot Road III's. Anyone have any experience with these? Ran these on my 675 Daytona and wow what a tyre. Endless grip whatever the weather (literally) length of service on my bike, used pretty much every ...

... plate on it? :? Yes, we've done it for the other cars and bikes already. Plus french insurance is much better than uk insurance, and there is no road tax in France. We have to pay some tax to change it over but it works out much cheaper in the long run 8)
