The sets, and there's lots of them, look amazing. Other than that I have no idea what's going on.

Apparently he can still vote??
It seems that he's registered to vote in Florida, and Florida honors the state laws where the conviction occurred re. voting...or some other convoluted BS.
At least, that what a quick bit of googling seems to indicate.

What impact does a local election ACTUALLY have? Does it have any effect on the next general election? I.e. let's say I vote green now and liberal in a general, does the one vote undo the other? If I want to vote green in the general do I need to vote green now?!

Re: Will Automated vehicles mean the end of Motorbikes ?
Police bikes have a few advantages over patrol cars, in a few areas of police work...and that's it. Beyond those few specific uses they're just not a very practical option for most police forces. End of the day they're just too expensive, because it always comes down to money at some level or other.

I'd add also the tranche of car drivers who now feel they can bully other road users and generally do what the feck they like - that level of entitlement that seems to be present now too. I'm watching soccer...or rather I would be if it wasn't for the ongoing debate over some team or other getting screwed out of two or three penalties, the impartiality (or not, as the case may be) of a particular referee, etc.

An old episode of Magnum P.I. - the late, great, Ronald Lacey is guest-starring.
Other than that, I'd forgotten how poorly this show has aged....it's fairly awful, TBH.

A mystery package...??
I've no idea who sent it or what it is, other than it's from some clothing company I've never heard of that's located down the road a few miles away.
Intriguing....I feel like El Guapo in Three Amigos - "It's a sweater!!"
