If you got a wedding coming, the cheaper option. You can always try new tyres next time. I have often changed as a pair even though the front was ok.

Personally I don't think he'll get the chance.. He may be a damn talented rider, but he's not alone on that grid and they are all pretty damn good riders.

I reckon that Yamaha will get a few tweaks over the next few weeks.

... the open will allow any condensation to dry. I'll have a good look at the switchgear and give it a clean when I can. I know its a while away but next winter you can store it in my garage now ive got room
