My dad had to have a dog put down recently. It's his birthday next week. I took a photo of the dogs the last time I visited so I've had it printed and framed. It arrived today.

... hopefully. Except the helicopter pilots have gone on strike and our storage vessel can't crew change tomorrow. So hopefully that is resolved by next week!

Okay, an update happened.
The bike cleared UK Customs at 01:00 this morning so is now at the UK Distribution centre, it might make the Friday delivery to the dealer but will probably be next week so I paid the balance of the deposit which should make the paperwork smooth once it get's here.

... to being done here We are at a export rate that we can't maintain enough feed to onshore, so they shut down to us for good at 9pm last night. next time they start up again will be from feed form a different field that is getting developed, approx. 2 yrs from happening. Bloke I travelled to work with from Sydney just went down with COVID. I have to RAT test every day for the next week. Was a chick in front of him on one of the flights coughing her lungs up, I was 4 rows away, so fingers crossed.

... 1300 is a bit lighter and easier to lift off the stand but I remember the chocolate camshafts and electrical oddity's on the early 1250's... My next bike may be a 1300GS but I will let them work the bugs out of it first, it is an all new bike.

I'm still very tempted, but something I'd not considered is I don't have a garage anymore and probably won't in the next 12 months unless there is a housing price and interest rate crash.
