Re: 2015 Euro Track Date

I'm happy to pay extra if that means any track time isn't a demolition derby. (f1) the more space on track there is the better for everyone else on track at the same time as me. I'm wondering, as tyres aren't cheap would it ...

Re: The new improved fitness thread

I'm happy with my beach body, if I'm lucky I might get some help from greenpeace getting to the sea :P My ankle seems to be sorting it's self out now, but I've managed to get some good cardio training in on the cross trainer ...

Re: 2015 Euro Track Date

... two days is plenty to be fair, for 10am to 5 or 6 with an hour break for lunch and well needed ;) for sure. You may say its expensive, but I am happy to pay a little extra for the service, comfort, peace of mind that I am being well looked after and so is my bike. I have to say with the instruction ...

Re: What did you do to your bike today ??

Was about to fit the new carbon hugger, took the old one off got new one out of box and I'm not happy with it, it's twice the size of the hugger I've taken off and the quality and the finish is by far not acceptable, it's a Skidmarks design and I've heard some bad reviews ...

Re: Someone is going to be happy soon

The guys on the Ducatiforum who have ordered them are adamant they will be used as intended. There are a few who have Desmosedicis and they get used on track. I can never quite see how bikes are a good investment but i guess its each to their own. Desmosedicis sell for a little less than they cost n...

It's just a shame it will probably be destined for collection in a garage somewhere, to spend it's life under a dust sheet... :(

Re: New Leathers

... Duke, I think you need to go for the Ducati leathers. They look the best. You've spent decent money on other kit and bling. Go for what you're happy with. You know that the Dainese stuff will last a lifetime. My race suit is about 15 years old and crash tested but still looks good.

I think (and Im happy to be corrected) that Its probably a false widow bite, hardly the killer the press makes it out to be but can do that. I hope it gets better soon ...

A dutch Ducati dealer. First ones just being delivered.

st Marks, if we could afford something like that i doubt we would be thinking about commuting on it. But using it on a racetrack is what its made for.

Actually Duke, that's exactly what put's me off treating myself to something exotic.
I simply couldn't carve my way through the traffic (like I did today) or hoon round a racetrack with the same happy abandon if I was that precious about my bike.

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park

... I didn't. I just braked too hard and fell off it instead. I was only 15/16, and it was only a 50cc, but that's still someone's bike and he wasn't happy. Neither was I, I had shorts on and took a chunk of skin off my leg!

... the jeans are great but the bike is brilliant, still using too many revs to get away from lights etc but its just a case of getting on using it, happy days :)
