Re: What did you do to your bike today ??
Washed the Multi and prepped it ready for Sunday.
Also knocked the bearings out of the 5 spoke front wheel for the 748 in readiness for the powdercoating. I've ordered some tyre levers to have a go at removing the tyres.

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park
My dad asked a few times in the past. "It's only a 600" Yeah dad. That's right. It's also 30 years since you last rode a bike. Sod off. My dad took my Daytona out about 6 years ago now while I was cleaning it (yes officer he stole it) as I wouldn't let him ride ...

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park
I have to be a bit diplomatic about it as I have to work with the guy and we are a small team so 'F off' will land me in HR. Also he is technically above me on the company structure although I don't think he actually realises that. Equally I don't think he realises how uncomfortable ...

... More Ducati bling bling (rolf) The Australian parcel was for the wife. The German parcel was a seat hinge for the monoposto seat on the 748. I also bought a brass drift to knock the wheel bearings out of the new wheels. £10 on fleabay and should have quite a few uses and will last my lifetime.

Re: Garage / Motorcycle Security
Ahh found it. You can use this with those huge **** chains too.
Obviously doesn't work if you have spindle sliders fitted though. Also appears to only fit certain bikes too.

No more than leaving the bike standing on any floor.D6Nutz wrote:Won't that also flat spot the tyre if you don't keep taking it in and out to keep the pressure points changing regularly?
In fact it may improve things as the tyre will have 2 contact patches to spread the load instead of just the one.

Fitted the Tom Tom onto the Bike but spent far too long trying to route the cable so it doesn't get melted! And also took the tax disk off the frame and put back a couple of bits on to the bikes (nothing special just personal taste stuff!) Pic off the Tom Tom http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/03/30/ybunezev.jpg
