Re: New Car
What can I add... That's proper nice... Jag have not only got the hang of making beautiful cars, but I'm betting it's well build and spec'ed up to the hilt with goodies.. I gave it a good clean today, Spudda would be proud of me, but it's also the best way to actually see how well a car is made and...

Re: What are you doing today ??
Spending the day grinning after getting an offer from my first choice uni after an interview earlier this week. Things were looking a bit bleak as my safety net options were unsuccessful but first choice came through. I can only assume I must not have shown enough enthusiasm at the other interviews...

leave it in the sun, that should make the glue tacky. Peel off as much as you can by hand then use a label remover.

Re: The on-going tyre saga
Jon, try here. I am told these come from Germany in a few days and they appear to have both your front and rear in stock. http://www.oponeo.co.uk/moto-tyre/metzeler-sportec-m7-rr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (f1) for Oponeo, I think they may be a Polish company as they w...

Re: The on-going tyre saga
I'm due some new tyres with the MOT arriving next month and my rear pretty much at the wear bar. I normally use Dunlop roadsmart 2's because I had a pretty decent 7-8k out of the last set I had but I have only managed 4500 miles out of this rear and I can't see the front lasting another rear. So I w...

An angle grinder gets stubborn stickers off pretty well and as a bonus, you have new stickers to hide the damage. winner

you wouldn't have fish swimming up those pipes to your toilet. they are pretty much dry unless you are flushing/showering/running a tap.
Maybe snakes and rats though, they could probably make it up to greet your bum. Oh maybe mini gators too.

Re: Brammo announce smart-phone, route-planning deal
The big issue with fully electric vehicles has to be range. A bike with less than a 60 mile highway range for me kills it. It's said to have around 130 city miles in it and a combined mileage of up to 80. I'd have thought reduced on windy days or hilly routes. in my opinion I don't think they are ye...

Re: someone wants to take the bike round the car park
I let a mate have a go on one of my old bikes just up and down his street, he almost got taken out by a car reversing off their drive and ended up hammering across 3 gardens trying to avoid it it was only an old wrecker of a bike though. my advice would be not to do it.

Re: If you could go live anywhere....
Out of all the places I have seen, none of them matter a shit to me because the people I loved weren't there. For me personally, myself and the mrs both have multiple family members in oz and others thinking about going over too. I think having people about is less of an issue for me than it is for...

I'd like to go to Australia. I'm in college at the moment, hoping to go to uni to retrain and get a job that will enable me more flexibility in deciding where to settle.

can't hurt to try a few?
I normally use http://www.speedtest.net/ or one or two at random from google to see if they all match up.
