Re: Chain Riveting Tool

Re: Night riding
Must confess that the older i get the less i enjoy riding and driving in the dark. This. Also, I think headlights are so bloody bright now I'm constantly dazzled if there are other vehicles about. The worst I find, driving an older car and when I have a more modern car behind me, their headlights c...

Re: Is Marc Marquez making MotoGP dull?
It's only dare if you care about 1st place and don't give a shit about the racing. Even when he's won he's raced for it. Most of the time he's had to fight for that top spot on the podium. MotoGP will never go dull the way F1 does when someone dominates. I think they ruined F1 when they got rid of ...

the one that winds me up is that on the way to uni, in the same place at the same time every day there is a long queue of traffic but people still persist in trying to weave in and out of lanes both over and undertaking beforehand and cutting people up to try and hit the line of traffic around the n...

it's like the reverse where I work rossgo, the people who moan and complain the most, shouting about their rights are on the most money while the rest of us suffer on lower wages while doing twice the work without complaint. I personally find it disheartening and ends up with you not wanting to do a...

Re: How delightful
I have heard of this before on trails that mountain bikers use but the odd person on a mx bike uses as well. Yep, people put logs in the middle of bends on the downhill sections too and all sorts, you can see where they have been dragged over to try and make people crash, also fishing wire across t...

quite a fair challenge though, lets see which of these can get to 200mph the quickest. lets use two 200mph+ cars and a motorcycle that's limited to less than 200.............. I wonder who will win

To be honest, mine is closer to a true cave than anything else, not even a man cave. The roof leaks, the door is knackered and the gf filled it with crap to the point where you need to climb over things at about waist height to even see the back, coupled with the cobwebs I feel like an extra from an...

Re: Tyre fitting
Jees! £31 to fit tyres onto loose wheels?! Just as well I'm from a family of bikers. We each chipped in £20 and bought everything needed to change tyres and balance wheels. It's much easier than you think. As it happens, I got the abba tyre changing and balancing kit somewhere but I ripped the gara...

anyone know of anywhere near Edgbaston (botanical gardens area) that'll fit motorcycle tyres to loose wheels while I wait? The only place I know is Sheldon Motorcycles, £15, but a bit far from Edgbarston. Note the 'R' in Edgbaston (giggle) 'twas £15.50 a wheel at streetbike and took just over an ho...
