Re: wives, partners and girlfriends
anyhow males and females are, by and large, interested in different things - my office was almost entirely female by the time i left, 'great' you might say but it wasn't for me, a manager who was scared of women, stuff about babies, babies beig brought in to work, crying over upsets, silly fall outs...

wives, partners and girlfriends
the other day i was at this gathering and i suppose, because there was something of a lull in conversation, this rather middle class woman weighs in with a load of stuff that she's picked up off radio 4 about gender. I vaguely recall hearing a bit of it when i was fiddling about with my bikes in the...

Re: Police Motorcyclist Killed in RTA
very sorry for your loss TC. incidents like this make me re think motorcycling, is it worth it if trained/ experienced riders can be killed in this way? of course I won't give up but nevertheless it puts the wind up, unfortunately it's not just me, our boy has a couple of bikes too, no doubt influen...

Re: Triumph Birmingham
that's odd isn't it - triumphs seem to be top sellers, mind you there was a triumph dealership in aston clinton (nr Aylesbury) that disappeared.duke63 wrote:They lost over £100,000 last year according to Companies House.

D6Nutz: just over a year ago i was knocked off my bike in oxford by a guy changing lanes without looking. the bike was a write off but i was ok after that i thought about giving up but i know that i'd miss the 'fix' and feel fed up not being able to escape for those little countryside outings regard...

Re: getting that fix
nah - they would have ganged up and beat me down, she was amongst friends,
there was a moment of light relief though when two dogs went for each other,
why would you bring a dog into a cafe when you know it doesn't like other dogs?
the owners of the attacked dog were mortified and left.

Re: getting that fix
today for example, i'm just going to have to get out for a ride even though it is dull and overcast, thank goodness for heated grips. i don't expect the lanes that i use will have much traffic this time of day except for the farm stuff that leaves mud everywhere and at least the cafes won't have too...
