Another awareness day is in the diary for Sunday the 3rd of June

Do you recall me mentioning the Roadbase2017 charity event?

Back in September, we helped 2 guys ride to every Air Ambulance base in the country to raise awareness and riase £2000 for the North West Air Ambulance. Re: Ace Cafe - 11th February

Just a reminder for this Sunday if the weather is half decent and you are at a loose end for something to do.

Pop by say Hi, pick up a few freebies and have a gander at the other agencies that will also be in attendance.

Re: Helmet stuff

I do consultancy work for Terry (the MD of Moto-Direct) and so I get to visit them at their HQ in Notts on a regular basis. If you saw some of the ideas in development it would blow you away. But from an interest point of view, they have at least one of every helmet on show going back 50+ years. So ...

The Bike Experience

Many of you have heard me rabbit on about the Bike Experience which was set up by Talan to help people who cannot usually ride get back onto a bike in a controlled environment. Well a short video has just been released which for those of you who have never really understood what it is all about, may...

Fair play (y) None the less, they are still a good group. A big group but a good group.

Last time I was a speaker the audience was about 400+ and that was a quiet meeting :|

OK. Good group.

I have tested a few of their members in the past and I have been their gust speaker a few times at Tally Ho where they (I believe ) still meet.

Re: advising your younger self

Listen to your Mum :( Number of times as a teenager in the 70's she told me that if I insisted on wearing jacket and jeans and did not cover the gap between I would end up with a bad back. She kept telling me that if I did not want to wear full leathers or a longer jacket I should wear smething like...

Unless they change the way accidents are dealt with we are all going to be risking it every time we ride or drive. It's ludicrous. Makes you want to drive round on cloned plates as even if they catch you the penalties are tiny :( Significant changes are being introduced in October this year to pers...
