Today: going to buy some bike security. Beers in pub tonight.
Tomorrow: shopping for my better half's birthday. Possibly a run out on bike if weather any better.

It's on an 08 plate Kwacky. Sounds quite nice and seems to go pretty well. Just have to remember which lever does which again etc nowKwacky wrote:Smart bit of kit. What year is it?

Lost a stone so far in about a month and fitness and strength slowly improving. So hard to stick to a clean diet though!

Re: Do you remember your first ride?
Opening up the ZX7R for the first time after derestricting it. 33bhp to 120 odd. Wound it up in 3rd to the red line and simultaneously laughed my head off and sh*t my pants! Considered restricting it again as my brain didn't know what was going on! Fantastic.

Re: A little Kwacky tale
Great post Kwacky. I can't even remember how I got on here, wasn't there an exodus from GB Bikers? I may be making that up. Anyway, I've been off here for a long time (off bikes too) but really enjoyed the odd ride out that I got to and the camaraderie on the site. Looking forward to reintegrating m...

Re: Switching from Road to Track
I think knee down just sort of happened for me, but generally only on one side? My left knee slider is almost unused even though it was the only side that I'd decked the pegs out on my gsxr (obviously not trying hard enough!). It feels more comfortable for me to lean off right than left so maybe it'...

Re: Kwacky's Donington Report
Great write up Kwacky, sounds like a fun day.
Tankslap track day would be excellent. I'm aware of a track in Wales that can be hired out but can't recall the name, will have a look.

Re: Bassetts Pole
I used to attend the common meets in Liverpool years back but they got steadily more out of control until a guy on an R1 at top of 2nd gear with no helmet and wearing shorts hit a small motocross bike with two young lads on it (very young). Explosion of bike parts and flying bodies. I never went bac...

Re: UK law change set to allow isle of Man-style road racing
You should all come to Skelmersdale, every night's race night :) we've got the M58 for drag racing and the famous Pimbo TT as well for a bit of two wheel small circuit stuff plus a roundabout that can be seen from the moon for all your knee down action and all the friendly plastic scousers you coul...
