Re: Steering Dampers

It's an 09. As soon as I got on it, it was like riding a push bike, very strange how it felt so light. Stuck like glue in the bends though. Very nice bike to ride (y)

Steering Dampers

I have the bog standard one on my Gixxer. I road my mates Fireblade to Donington on Sunday and as soon as I got on it, I noticed how light the steering was. When I got off it, I looked for the damper and there wasn't one. Do Hondas come with no damper and why? Great bike to ride and ace at turning i...

Rear Sets

Do you have them or do you use the standard pegs? I looked at buying some a while back, but couldn't justify paying mega bucks, so I bought the Valter Moto jack up plates instead.

Gear Shifting

I go through the gears without using the clutch, knocking the shifter up from 2nd to 6th and use the clutch to come down the gears.

How do you shift?

Does anyone use the race method of shifting (knocking the shifter down to go up the gears) and why?

Alex Salmond has one agenda; Alex Salmond. God I could slap that smarmy get. Send the chunt to a deserted island and leave the bigot to rot.

Frankly, I see him as a form of a racist.

Re: Retiring from biking

I started at 16, crashed into the back of a car at 17, smashed my bike to bits and sold it as scrap. I ended up in an ambulance. I gave up biking that day for good, or so I thought. I bought a K2 600 when I was 46. A gap of nearly 30 years! It's in the blood 8) My dad rode, his dad rode, my uncle ra...
