What did you do to your bike today ??
Fitted a new can to the NC29.
Thought I'd pop the removable baffle out and took it for a spin. How loud is too loud?
Baffles going back in first thing tomorrow.

Re: Stoner retired for good
As has already been said....having kids makes a huge difference. He had absolutely nothing left to prove. Don't forget either that he retired at the end of the season that took Simoncelli's life in such an unexpected fashion.

Re: Where are you from?
I'm not playing this week. There have been too many Christmas parties.
Having said that, it seems that if I went to as many Christmas parties every week for a year, I'd still only manage to be French (18th)

Re: Tyre fitting
Jees! £31 to fit tyres onto loose wheels?!
Just as well I'm from a family of bikers. We each chipped in £20 and bought everything needed to change tyres and balance wheels.
It's much easier than you think.

Not holding the marshals or recovery crew responsible at all, but it takes me back to 2003 MotoGP :-(

Refinishing fork legs
I live in South Wales, but really don't mind where in the UK the forks will have to be taken/sent. A friend of mine runs a powder coating company (as a side note, he used to be an SB member - Funkyboogalooo. Remember him Kwacky?!), so blasting and coating really aren't an issue. I'm aware that there...

Refinishing fork legs
I'm currently restoring an NC29 to as close as showroom condition as possible. I have a huge collection of spares so decided to overhall and rebuild a set of forks. I decided to have the fork legs powder coated in silver. Although they look tremendous fitted to the bike, and to most people, may even...

What did you do to your bike today ??
Finally got around to ordering up a new chain and "exciting" gearing for the NC29. Hopefully I'll have time at the weekend to fit the freshly rubbered, newly powder coated wheels and final drive. Not far away now :-)

Don't drive to work
I work all over the UK and, at the drop of a hat, my plans can change, so I have no choice but to drive. Even if I knew that I was going to be in London all day and not have to scoot somewhere else, there's no incentive to take public transport. I can drive it for £85 return. That includes parking i...

Not forgetting that half of them want to remain as is Binno.....and come Thursday, I suspect it will be more than half.
I can't help but understand the sentiment of your comment though, if not the finer detail.

I'd say that Simoncelli was attempting something similar on that fateful day, but just didn't quite pull it off.

Easy mistake to make
Seems like there is gender confusion. The woman refers to the dog as 'her', yet one of the pictures refers to it as 'him'.
Although there are obviosly more 'species' issues.

Reading a little more carefully than I wanted to, I notice that the dog was male......not suggesting it would be any less horrendous if it were female, but still!

Paying for private healthcare
I visited my NHS GP in 1998 with a problem with my eye that required minor surgery. I asked how long the waiting list was. His response (which still makes me smile)..."You won't be seen this millennium..." He suggested I went private as it would be exactly the same surgeon performing the o...

Motogp returns to Donington for 2015
Whilst I agree with most of what you say Duke, if the Circuit of Wales is ever built, I am selfishly looking forward to a 20 min drive to a MotoGP event or track day :-)

Straight in on the top Moto2 team. Can anyone else smell "Team Repsol Marquez". I suspect he's already earmarked as Pedrosa's replacement.
