Re: As the decade ends ...
Given that I've only been biking for 11 years and I've only had 2 bikes in that time, this should be easy. The Z1000 is a better bike in almost every respect and it's lasted me 7 years with zero problems. I love it. But the Daytona 600 was my first, my exploratory companion as I entered the wonderf...

Re: As the decade ends ...
Yep. Someone on his R1 over took a car on the motorway at warp speed. Guess who was driving the car? :D :D Rick got in touch with me and I sorted him out with a local solicitor who got him an excellent result. Who overtakes a cop at speed? Honestly...... (mm) (wasntme) Hehe... Long story. But lets ...

Re: As the decade ends ...
Hmm tough..very tough.. I really loved the tiger 800XC and the XCA of late.. However the Cross Plane R1 (2010). Which I had for 5 years and up to 85,000 miles from zero.. is the winner. Never let me down. Thrashed, tracked and crashed..and even got me a ban.. [emoji2960] Toured over Europe multiple ...

That's impressive, the XR doesn't look that good when it's cleaned up. What kind of compressor/nozzle are you using? Does it give a fine mist spray? Sent from my ONEPLUS A6013 using Tapatalk Just a normal gravity feed bottle on a spray gun. With the compressor set out at 2bar I used to use the spra...

Re: Pre Winter treatment
Has been used everyday about 2,600 miles and caked in crud.. again looks forecourt finish.. drawback is it looks shite once dirt collects on the grease and ACF. But at least I know by next summer it will look nice for the sunshine https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20191209/a2a59b8254e4c88a18090f2c65f...

Re: Pre Winter treatment
And funny you post today... Triumph changed my tyres and did a quick jetwash without asking me.. bloody powered off all my anti corrosion... So had to do a full treatment again yesterday. This is the first time since my last post and the bike looked horrendous hence probably why the dealer have it a...

Re: Pre Winter treatment
i looked at the pics, and wondered why the bike in the "before" pic looked so clean. LoL. mine seems to get worse than that in a week. Must be the muddy fields and developments leaving crap on the roads by me. I just coated my bike in XCP rust blocker to see how I get on with it. How did ...

What a shame.. Lorenzo
Can't believe I'm seeing all my favourite riders slowly disappear.. a new era.. Imo Rossi and Lorenzo back in the day where the most exciting to watch.. that rivalry.. https://www.foxsportsasia.com/moto-gp/1198623/three-time-motogp-champion-jorge-lorenzo-retires/" onclick="window.open(this...

Pre Winter treatment
Hey chaps. I fully drenched my bike in ACF50 spray. And also on all the silver bits ACF50 corrosion block grease... 2 months of solid use everyday in all weather and about just over 4k miles.. The bike was caked. Proper nasty. Id have at least expected some cloudyness or at worst a spec of unwanted ...
